CioccolatItaliani

Cioccolati Italiani, a simple vista, parece una heladería, ¡pero es mucho más que eso! La primera diferencia que noté respecto a las heladerías convencionales es la posibilidad de agregar una cobertura de chocolate negro o blanco en el interior del cono (se le llama "nero o bianco fuso"). También ofrece una gran variedad de chocolates y todos sus demás productos - tortas, waffles, crepes, cafés, pastelería - están basados en ellos... ¡Los que más me tentaron fueron los waffles!

La sucursal ubicada en la zona más turística de Milán se encuentra en Via San Raffaele 6 (muy cerca de la Galería Vittorio Emanuele II); el otro día la visité y aproveché para sacar algunas fotos :).

Cioccolati Italiani looks like a ice-cream saloon, but it is a lot more than that! The first difference is the "nero or bianco fuso", a black or white chocolate coating inside the cone. Besides, the shop offers a great variety of chocolates and all the other products - cakes, waffles, crepes, coffees, pastry - are based on them... The waffles are my favorites! 

One of the shops - there are 2 in Milan - is placed in Via Raffaele 6 (very close of Galeria Vittorio Emanuele II). Some days ago I went there and took some pictures :).   

United Colors of Benetton

¡Hola, buenos días! ¿Qué tal el fin de semana? Espero que muy bien y que la semana comience de igual manera :). Hoy, continuando con el recorrido por negocios de Milán (posts anteriores, ¡aquí!), comparto algunas fotos de United Colors of Benetton.  En el link podrán encontrar la historia de la compañía italiana - fundada en 1965 por Luciano Benetton - y descubrir que su filosofía e inicios, tal como su nombre lo indica, están intimamente relacionados con el uso del color. Justamente, los colores y accesorios son los puntos que más destaco de sus propuestas... ¿A ustedes le gusta algo en particular?

Hi, good morning! How was your weekend? Today I share some pictures of United Colors of Benetton's shop, following with the "shop's posts" (previous ones, here!). If you click on the United Colors of Benetton's link, you will discover the Italian company history - its founder was Luciano Benetton in 1965 - and find out its color based beginning and philosophy. Precisely the colors and the accessories are the points I highlight of its proposals. Arnold Coffee

¡Hola! Una peculiaridad de Italia, entre muchas, es que no hay Starbucks (hasta donde yo sé, si tienen otro dato, ¡avísenme!), pero sí, en Milán, está Arnold Coffee: "La experiencia del café americano" ("The American Coffee Experience"). Con la misma tipografía, productos y estilo de local, se muestra como una alternativa para quienes solemos visitar Starbucks. Pedí un Caramel Macchiato, mi preferido, algo más dulce que lo usual, pero muy rico :).

Hi! A peculiar Italian aspect - among others - is that there is not any Starbucks (as I know, if you know any, please let me know!), but there is Arnold Coffee in Milán: "The American Coffee Experience". With the same typography, products and kind of store, it is shown as an alternative for us, the ones used to visit Starbucks. I ordered a Caramel Macchiato, my favorite. It was a little sweeter than usual, but very tasteful :).

Flowers

¡Hola, buenos días! ¿Cómo están? Espero que muy bien :). 

Las fotos de hoy fueron sacadas el domingo, cuando fuimos a hacer la compras. Como el día estaba lindo y había flores, ¡aprovechamos! Se trata de un lugar, llamado Piazza Portello, en el que hay varios negocios (Zara, Zara Home, H&M, Swarovski, entre otros) y un supermercado.

Hi, good morning! How are you? I hope everything super fine :).

Today's pictures were taken last Sunday, when we went to the supermarket. Since the day was nice and we found flowers, we took advantage of that! It is a place where there are several shops (Zara, Zara Home, H&M, Swarovski, among others) and a supermarket.

Hace unos meses, paseando por Milán, me llamó la atención que un negocio, en el que solía estar H&M, estuviera cerrado. Al poco tiempo, descubrí en el lugar esta nueva marca: & Other Stories - un lanzamiento, justamente, de H&M para cubrir la brecha de mercado entre sus propuestas originarias y otro de sus emprendimientos - COS - de precios más elevados.  & Other Stories no sólo ofrece una línea de prendas femeninas, zapatos, bolsos y demás accesorios, sino que también productos de belleza, todo para crear nuestro propio estilo, nuestra historia. 

Esta nueva marca ya está presente en Londres, París, Berlín, Estocolmo, Copenhague y Barcelona (además de Milán), pero también se puede acceder a sus productos desde su página web - www.stories.com (envíos en los siguientes países:  Bélgica, Dinamarca, España, Finlandia, Francia, Alemania, Italia, Reino Unido, Holanda y Suecia).

Some months ago, walking in Milan, my attention was caught by a closed H&M store. Some days later,  I discovered a new brand: & Other Stories - the new H&M proposal to fill the gap between its original low cost products and COS - another of its brands with higher prices. & Other Stories offers us - women - a wide range of clothing items, shoes, bags, accessories and beauty products to create our personal style, or story. 

This brand has shops in London, Paris, Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Barcelona (plus the one in Milan), but you can buy its products online too - www.stories.com (delivery available in Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Sweden).

Liberazione

Ayer se celebró la Festa della Liberazione (Fiesta de la Liberación) en Italia. El día conmemora la liberación de Italia del régimen fascista en 1945 y el nacimiento del país tal lo conocemos hoy. Más información en el link :). Lo asocié con este post ya que, por fin, salió el sol y pudimos salir a dar un paseo... Las fotos a continuación.

Yesterday Italy celebrated the Festa della Liberazione (Liberation Day). The day is when the Allied troops were able to liberate Italy in 1945.  The fascism finished and was born the country we know nowadays. More information clicking on the link :). I related this day to the post title since yesterday , appeared the sun and we could go for a walk finally... Photos below!

Shops, Shops!

¡Buenos días! Paseando por el centro de Milán, descubrí varias vidrieras/vitrinas nuevas (fotos de más vidrieras - las anteriores - aquí!). Algunas son de negocios en la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II y otras de los que se encuentran en el Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (una calle peatonal, adyacente al Duomo; la galería tiene una de sus salidas hacia ella).  Me gusta ver las tendencias, colores y combinaciones que éstas nos proponen para luego adaptarlos a mi estilo (¡y presupuesto!).

Good morning! I discovered some new windows shop while I was walking around Milan (pictures of the previous ones here!). Some of them are from Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II' shops and others from shops located on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II (pedestrian street; the gallery has one of its exits to this street). I like to see the colors, the combinations, the trends that they proposed to adapt them to my style (and budget!) then.  

Ah! The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is the one in the above picture.

¡Felices Pascuas!

¡Muy felices Pascuas! El otro día recorrí un supermercado cercano y saqué algunas fotos, principalmente, de los chocolates y las Colombas ("palomas", un dulce italiano típico de esta época)... Pero, también, agregué otros toques de color y cosas ricas.
